I found SHIN EI on the Internet after a trip to Japan, where I experienced the intricate beauty of Sino-Japanese calligraphy in a temple in Kyoto. I bought an ‘enso’ from her- the perfect/imperfect circle from zen tradition. I was especially appealed as well by the traditional Japanese poetry which she writes in the delicate strokes of ‘kana’, so I also bought several pieces from her. SHIN EI is a lovely young lady, standing out by her keen eye for beauty in written form and her great talent for performing calligraphy. I keep in contact with her via FaceBook, as I want to see her develop her talents and personality along the Path of Writing with confidence and a heart full of joy!
